This has come to be one of the most reassuring passages which I treasure. Rejoice always, the Lord is near! I will freely admit that I am a worrier... yes, I worry about a lot of things that are not really all that significant, or other things that I can't really do anything about. For the world...
Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it

For our nation...

May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity
and guide the nations of the earth.

For state and community leaders, and those
overseeing our criminal justice system...
Psalm 9:8 He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity. 


For chaplains, pastors, missionaries, volunteers and for this ministry in particular...
Galatians 6:9
 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

For immigrants...
Deuteronomy 10:19 
And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.

For everyone who is incarcerated and their families...

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison,
and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
